And they probably won't call you back. When dealing with a government agency you need to be more proactive. Go down to the office and if needed, wait in line for 2 hours to ask. I know it sucks but between CDL renewal, TSA background check, Hazmat renewal, DOT physical, DOT random drug test etc etc. you'll need to get used to the waiting.Folt45 Thanks this. -
You mentioned in post #4:
TWO accidents? You claim it was just that one accident in your entire driving years.
If there's any dispute, such as that, as to what's on your driving record, you need to obtain a "court purpose" (full) driver's history printout from the NC DMV.
You need to go there in person.Folt45 Thanks this. -
They told me straight it was a DOT thing. Not there insurance. After a week of doing all the things to get hired and they knew about it from the start. Sounded like BS... Why I dropped my packet with someone else to see what happens.

Copy, sounds like a company policy. IE. 5 years clean Mvr no accidents etc. Companies can and do make their own "hiring criteria". They can say no misdemeanors ever,no dui's ever etc.Anyway that what I get out of this.
Folt45 Thanks this. -
No it was one... NC laws says 2 major accidents in a year is the limit
-
TSA has cleared me already... I already have a TWIC in hand lol

I had the same thing. I moved over into the middle lane and two cars ahead decided to stop on the freeway. If I "claimed" responsibility then it would not show as an accident.Folt45 Thanks this.

here are the required disqualifications from the FMCSA. I find nothing about your accident being a disqualifying event.
