Have you tried contacting a Peterbilt parts dept. or body shop?
I know our body shop has built many custom trucks, so maybe ANY peterbilt pody shop could help point you in the right direction

PeteTech, could you ask around your dealership and find out IF they made a 48" flat top in 1984? some posts have said they didn't even make one. I may be looking for something that doesn't exist. Thanks dude.

why's it matter IF they made one in 84. fact is they made them so if you want one go get one. There i a ton of them on old trucks all over so it' not like it's rocket science.

i guess it's not rocket science at all, but some guys have said they did not make them in 1984. I wanna find out if they did or didn't. I don't want some cobbled up crap, I want a sleeper that was designed for this truck if they made one. Someone said they only made crawl thru's, I have a walk in truck so I want a walk in sleeper if possible.

the 48 isn't a walk in it's a sit in I believe. Only the 60 is a walk in. Although the 48 may still use the walk through hole. Seems to me I just saw a picture of one where someone put one of those refrigerated drawers under the bunk and it opened out the front so it wold have to have a walk through hole.
