Swift academy no medical treatment allowed while in school

That particular terminal had some problems with the feds a few years ago, so probably feel they're under the microscope. They were cutting corners on training and got caught. Actually, it wasn't such a big deal, but the feds didn't see it that way.

 

This is good training.

If something is going on.

Don't tell them.

Get it taken care of yourself. Some kind of way.

 

Seems like the best option. If the hotel is one Swift regularly uses for students, then the Dentist will have seen students in the past and may be aware of Swift's policy and have a workaround such as limited evening and weekend appts.

 

You would think that a large company like Swift, would have a vendor & services list for situations that pop up like this. I'm sure this isn't the first time some poor guy/gal came up with a tooth ache during training.

Pretty low class if you ask me.

 

And to this day I don't understand why people keep going with Swift...

 

I've found that dentists will bend over backwards to help someone out. I've had two personal experiences with them. Give him a call and see what he could do to help. He only needs a few shots, pliers and some gauze. He could pull that tooth while your standing outside in 10 minutes.

 

SADLY, it almost sounds as though Swift does NOT care!

For every student that is at Swift Academy, there are probably many more waiting to get in for the same training.

 

Welcome to life. Put on your big boy pants and suck it up. You always have to make a choice for what is right for you. They don't want you to miss instruction time because they pack so much into a short period of time. They are a business, the way they see it is if they cant count on you to show up for class, how can they expect you to show up for work. And yes, i' have terrible teeth, i know the pain. (My husband tells me i should be planner because i expect him to make deliveries according to google time estimates and dont like him to tell me otherwise...)
