target
my wife and i stopped at a target to get things for our new truck...... spent over $200 (new mirco, dvd player food.....) we went back to the truck with a cart full. as we were putting things in the truck the manager came out and told us to "get out of my parking lot....!" we were parked around the side
he was just going bat crap crazy about it and said he would call the cops.... (bad thing to say).... i said no problum I'LL DO IT FOR YOU and i did..
when the cops showed up after they talked to him they came to me and i told them the store has no sign "NO TRUCKS"... i'm not blocking anything as i parked on the side of the driveway (side of the bulding) THERE trucks use and i just spent over $200 in the store so he can do 1 of 2 things, he can shut the f up and let us put things away and we will leave OR we can load everything back in the cart take it all back inside and he can REFUND the money it's up to him..?
cop looked at him and said "well"... manager said ###### truck drivers and stormed off...... cop looked at me and said "have a good day driver"
haven't been back to taget in the last 7 years

only time i've ever been asked/TOLD to leave any store, he didn't even have the balls to do it alone or he was trying to show off but he had to bring a shock boy with him..... really he had to bring a 16 year old 5'5" kid as BACK UP...?
he showed up just as i was putting the 1st bag on the seat, i was standing next to the door with a OVER FULL CART and my wife was inside going to put things away as i unloaded the cart when he showed up and started being a.... i had my wife stop so when the cops showed up they could see just how much we bought... i think that helped for the cops to see we were there to spending money
the cops were cool about itTruckDuo Thanks this. -
What I mean is some ppl refuse to shop at Walmart period because of where a lot of their stuff is made.I didn't know if you just refuse the hardware dept or the entire store.

D...icks sporting goods.
Tried Delivering metal displays and the general manager treated my time as his personal time to F.. Off.
Had a 1030 arrival time. No one in the dang doors, Told me to come back around 1pm. His excuse was short handed and wouldn't allow me to unload, He had to do it or find someone. "Sir, It's 4 skids, Confident in my abilities to use the pump jack" Nope, Wouldn't receive it @ 1030. Came back @ 1300. Talked with the receiver gals, find out he was planning a EFFFFING WEDDING !!!! WTF.

I hate Walmart for so many reasons, and delivering there to Satan's distribution centers is just one of them. Unfortunately, avoiding doing any business there on the road is almost impossible. But the one place I will absolutely never shop at, ever never ever, I won't even stop to piss on their parking lot is Winco. I have never been treated as poorly at Winco than I ever was anywhere, even at the worst Walmart DC. Last year I had to deliver samples to their corporate office in Boise. No truck anything there, but that's life. I walk up and ask to speak to the person that took care of this. That ##### came out with an attitude and attacked me immediately, telling me she didn't have time for this. She gave me nothing but attitude. I finally got her to come outside, she saw my truck and said "I don't want it". This is after 45 minutes of waiting for her, politely dealing with her BS, and being treated like a bad two year old. I looked at her and said "#### you and your attitude, now it's YOUR problem and after I get off the phone with my customer and your boss, YOU explain why your stuff is in my freezer. I will never ever go to Winco ever again.

I have this bar on Tuesday that doesn't like to take deliveries till 12:00pm they are not really one of my favorite stops and I won't really miss them. Anyhow I got there yesterday at 11:30 and they let me deliver early and the woman whined to me about how the 8 cases of beer I delivered puts her so far behind in all the work she has to do and it all trickles down, boo hoo hoo cry me a river. The place doesn't open till 4:00pm and they are there at 11:00am! You need all day to get a bank deposit ready give me a break. As far as making the schedule goes you set aside one day and then that covers it for the week. I didn't say anything to her, but I was half tempted to say look I have a job to do as well, and my management is also interested in knowing why I'm wasting time not delivering this stop when I could be delivering it.
By the way my management would not really seriously entertain a complaint like that from a customer. They pretty much in a nice way tell the people "Uhh he's got 22 stops to do today and doesn't have time to waste on you so tough beans."
They've had that talk with customers before and the customers cry and moan and stop buying from us big deal, they all eventually come back.
Usually the customers that have the trouble are the little $150-$180 people the nickle and dime customers are the trouble makers they act like there $150.00 contribution is keeping the company afloat. Trust me the $600-$1,100 range customers are a lot more organized and usually faster to deal with.
I tell you what if I ran the beer company there would be a thing as delivery privileges and these little nickle and dime customers who cause trouble pretty much it would be 3 strikes and you're out if you deliberately hold a truck up and not take delivery because you're to busy do nothing you got nothing to show, then that's it were done, you need to pick up you're order on you're own time, it's called the Will Call door and you'll be seeing it from now on. Don't blame us you screwed you're self, that' exactly what I would tell them to. Trust me the beer distributor can go on without you're $150.00 order.texasbbqbest Thanks this.
