Trucking stories

Hi -- I'm not a trucker; I'm a writer who writes about truckers and trucking issues. Have written for Freightliner, Western Star, Detroit, RoadKing, Wilson, RoadPro etc., but I'm not selling anything. I'm concentrating on truckers' lives and businesses, not trucks. For example, I'm working on a story about how drivers who can't be home for a family event (kid's birthday, football game, recital etc.) participate from a distance. Do you Skype into the birthday party? Does the stay-at-home spouse post pics to Facebook? Or is it as simple as calling in from the road?
