I am so freaking excited I can hardly contain myself, I put in my app with Walmart on 12/19......I got the call today to do an interview on Monday. Can you guys tell me what can I expect on the phone interview ? I also was told if I did great on that the next thing would be for me to do the road test, can you guys give me some insight on that ? I have been driving for 20 years and have plenty of experience, just want to make sure I key in on certain things. I live in Atlanta and I applied for a driver in Lagrange GA which is about 80-miles away but I am ok with that. Does anyone know what I would be hauling here ? How far how will I go ? ( not like I really care) .....I am so excited ! Thanks for all insight in advance.

 

yes...Wyo and Colorado, not all the time by any stretch however.

 

Hello rkcaves08... It's smooth in Lagrange Ga.. when you make it to the pretrip you get 30 minutes to do a pretrip inspection.. make sure you check for fire extinguisher camera registration.. safety triangles... From there take your time and you will be fine. We haul General Merchandise from lagrange. But you go all over Five or six states to different DCs.. haul dry groceries to.

 

You will start off on the extra Board.. not unless the finish passing out programs.. they have 5/5 and 5/2 5/3 available..

 

Monday March 2, 2015...... 490 days since I lasted worked as an active driver for the Private Fleet...... I will return to the Sealy, TX DC to be placed back on active duty.

The company flew me to Bentonville on February 12th to meet with their chief medical examiner, was given a thorough DOT physical that included blood testing, and was recertified to drive to the company's satisfaction. I have been paid my ADP for the days since February 12th, so today was my first paycheck in over a year. Monday will seem strange after being gone for so long. My day will start with a DDC class and a whole lot of CBL modules to begin the process of catching up.
