I love riding my bike but, where do you fit a bicycle on/in the truck? I have a huffy cruiser and I don't see it fitting anywhere.

I tried the Planet Fitness thing and found it very difficult getting into many of the facilities that were accessible at all by truck or not an expensive cab ride from a truck stop. I'm not saying it can't be done but, at least for me, it was a pita working it out. I carry a jump rope and workout bands with me, and even at 44, a skateboard to get around on when it's feasible. Most of my co-workers that have bikes have the folding kind, they're easy to stow and only weigh about 25lbs or so, there are models for every budget with these but you get what you pay for. Also, we are hooked up to our trailers for months at a time usually and quite a few drivers with any type of bike will get a load bar and attach some hooks to it and hang the bike from it up high near the doors. We have e-track from front to back on our trailers so the bars are plenty sturdy to hold the bikes.

Calisthenics aka body weight exercise, keep your mobility high, heals joints, builds strength/agility, is natural way to exercise. No equipment needed, but a good pullup bar aka tree branch or edge you can grip helps. Must be progressive for best results, I recommend the progressions to learn how to constantly improve from one exercise to the next from the book Convict Conditioning. They are legit and can be done in and out of the truck, no gimmicks like gym memberships or powders pills needed.

New guy here and trying to get all this stuff figured out. For you guys with bikes, do you have a stationary set up or do your "ride around" where you park for the evening? I can imagine that it can be hard to ride a bike in some parts of the country during winter time....Any thoughts/comments/advice will be appreciated.
Thanks and be safe. -
Yes winter can be hard, but I routinely ride at near freezing temps for extended periods. It's all about how one dresses.
Once it's gets down to -10F I just can't do it. Although some do.
I still wear cycling shoes at 32F. If the roads are clear.Watasha Thanks this. -
I just looked up that Convict Conditioning. Pretty impressive. I may have to order a copy.
Thanks.tucker Thanks this. -
This is an XXL mountain bike. Bigger than most bikes and weighs 30 pounds. Remove the seat and front wheel with a quick release and hang it up. Easy peasy.

Nice solution.
