Yep, no prob. Don't wanna jeopardize a good opportunity. All the best for him, some days will be great, others... well. Just make sure he does what he is suppose to do, don't get involved with the winers and he will do just fine. It really is an easy job.

Thanks, demi -- sound advice! He is all about "by the book" and has no patience for whiners. Because he doesn't whine or complain, all past employers want him back.

LOL, the employer he spent 25 years with called him two weeks ago!!!

    Tom, miles are 800,000+.

Welcome 1234abc, where you run out of?

Hope Brian has a good couple of days off to recoup. The first week is always hard because of all the info thrown at him. As far as all the benefits, it is all filled out on the WIRE. He should have been given an log in I'd for the WIRE at the Dc and it can also be accessed on www.Walmartone.com. He will need to create a user Id and PW for this site if memory serves me correct. All the links for benefits are there plus on line payroll pay stubs. Also he can start his 401k now as well. All new hires are eligible from day one.

Long day today and headed north tomorrow so hope for clear roads! Good night and be safe in this crazy world!

He will do just fine then, happy for you both. I am sure his mentor will set him straight, sounds like a good driver. Glad we got him!

@ Matt – Hey, good to see you! Yes, he came in early yesterday evening, has to be back in Raymond, NH 08:00 Monday. And another yes – he says his brain hurts, LOL They did give him the login for WalmartOne and I got him all signed up and everything. He brought me what appears to be a 2-inch thick pile of “important” (to me) papers – I'm the one who gets to figure all that neat stuff out … Exciting, though! Getcha some rest, Friend, and THANK YOU!!!

@ demi –Oh, thank you so much! Yes, he's got I believe it is 35 safe years,of which we are both very proud! He has met his mentor and liked him immediately. He is looking forward to “bonding” with Dennis over the next couple of weeks, LOL We're glad to be here, believe me!

Matt, be careful, especially if heading to the Dallas area. Freezing rain falling right now and will continue until mid day Sunday. Live cameras around Dallas show a lot of ice on the roads and very little traffic right now. Will warm up to about 40 up there on Sunday. Tuesday will be in the 70's there, so that should clear things before the temps plunge back below 20 starting Wednesday and cool/cold the rest of week!

Debra, a lot of good things on the WalmartOne site. You can even see your payroll online the Sunday before payday on Thursday.

/\/\/\ Ohhhh, very cool -- thank you, Tom!!! I have been running around trying to get him back on the road when I'm not spending every minute I can with him, so I still haven't had a chance to really get into any of the WalmartOne site or the mega-pack of reading material just yet!

ETA: Brian was telling me earlier this evening that they told him that if there is a truck available Sun-Mon-Tues of his week off (following 2-week mentoring), they will allow him to come in and work that! Then he will have his regular Wed-Thur weekend, and start his regular week that Friday!

Hey guys quick question got a buddy of mine that wants to apply for Walmart. He pulled his MVR and it only shows a violation from 2013 in which is was an accident but on his MVR it say no for accident but then he pulls his psp and it shows this same violation and it says that it was and accident in which it was. In looking at the requirements it says no accidents, will this count again't him ? Should he wait to apply or apply and see what happens, Although I don't know I told him that they pull your MVR prior to even reaching out so they don't waste their time. Does walmart use the MVR and the dac or all 3 the MVR PSP and DAC
