That was the plan. Didn't know if there were any other pointers

It's relatively simple to do. We run all of our bedtrucks end winch tractors that way to keep the lines away from our winch cables

I seen this guy today, he had the rear capped off because the trailer he had standard hookups. I looked under his trailer just to see if there were connections but there wasn't anything to see.
I don't fully understand the "loop" he has going on with the electric, other than he originally ran his electric all the way to rear, then decided he needs a pigtail behind cab, so he jumps it to a feed going forward.
    Baller status none the less!

Never done it, but thought one way would be electric cord with two females, so you could plug existing pigtail in when powering out the back.

For air, quick couplers, with a couple glad hands with fittings in case you had to pull an unconverted trailer (I hate gladhands)

    Cluck Cluck Thanks this.

Guy that hauls out of my direct shipper has air out the back. He uses quick couplers instead of gladhands. I've has to move his trailer a couple times and if I remember correctly he had a manufactured aluminum box with gladnands, valves, and electric plug on the front of the trailer.

I'd think quick connects would be the easiest to use; probably a good idea to keep them lubed/sprayed with something to keep them from getting corroded/hung up closed/the ball bearings lubed

    MJ1657 and Cetane+ Thank this.

I think Flightline, the guy with the super big sleeper has that setup.
