The law recommends it but does not "Mandate it" at the dessication of the heath care prof, but you will not find any Doc that's going to put them self on the line and not have you just take the test.

This is acutally one of the reasons I have not switched over is becuse I would not be able to use my doc's med card, The SNI doc would just send me for a test when its not needed.

 

Actually it's a guideline..not a law.
Your company can make you get one if they require it.
But if you go to a outside doctor it's not required.

Not trying to start a fight..go find it on the internet.

It's one of those things that gets pushed to the back because drivers don't challenge it.

Great stuff on here. I do have a question about the sleep test though. Is it automatic if your neck size is over a certain size? I ask, because I just had a physical done at my current job and I did not have to take one because the neck size was my only red flag, other than BMI. Thanks for your help.

 

Also, I live on I-55 in Missouri at about the 100 mm. Do you guys see freight going through there? Thanks.

As an IC? Others will have to chime in, but it doesnt make sense that the company mandates who an IC can choose to get the physical from. In fact , since the new deal with certified docs, SNI for company just says find one on the data base and schedule through med people at SNI, for company drivers anyway.
