rkcaves08, if an accident is showing on a PSP, it was a DOT recordable accident. If it was preventable (and no fatality), then 10 years must pass before Walmart would consider hiring the driver. Walmart does not do any checks of a potential driver's history until he/she physically signs the application in person. The screening process to choose candidates for an interview is based on the assumed truthfulness on a candidates submitted application, so receiving a call for an interview or even the second step of the skills test does not mean a driver has cleared any checks of their prior history. Many applicants get disqualified once Walmart actually checks their background information..

Hey guys i have been reading your thread for awhile now and put my app in on 1/23 for shelby i havent heard anything back. Was just wondering if it always took this long , Thanks guys i always enjoy reading your thread.

 

Sometimes it does, other times you hear quickly. Shelby doesn't hire all that often. May be a volume thing. I would consider Sutherland too.

 

from what I understand Shelby is not actually hiring for the Shelby location. They are hiring drivers to work their and transition over to the new grocery dc once its up and running. We had a guy just transfer down their and thats what he accepted the transfer based upon.

What's up friends. I have a question about the process I take my road test and physical next week and I was wondering how long it normally takes for a orientation date if everything goes ok. Thanks a lot
