I was starting to think this thread died.

Actually I liked his question about safty glasses.
I've got a eye glass holder for the visor. Works great. and you can get them free at the truck shows.

Here's a trick a lot of you probably know but some may not. I prefer to hook 4-5 bungee together to prevent billowing. I see some guys use straps, but bungees have more elasticity so they do not get loose and rub as bad as straps.

The problem with several bungee hook together is it's puts loose hooks against the tarps and will puncture real easy.
This is where bungee rope will make all the difference. Bungee rope comes in unlimited lenght.

You could use pliers and squeeze the open end in some to keep the hook out of the tarp... I have heard about that bungee rope, never yet seen it. Pic?

they don't puncture the tarp. I can understand the concern, but I've been doing it this way for years with no problems.

I should give that bungee rope a try I guess. Do you have to tie and untie knots to use it ?

Do you have to slip the hooks over the end? Or they kinda slip on the side? I've never seen that setup for sure. I see some of the boys from down south use regular rope to keep nursery tarps down...
