As already said you are a prime candiate. At the age of 22 many places are not able to hire me because I'm too young for their insurance companies to approve me.

I prefer being around older people. I've been lucky enough to meet some that were willing to give good, solid advice (a lot here on TTR even).

 

There's some good CDL schools in Illinois that are cheap. If you go this route, get all the endorsements, TWIC card,passport before graduation so you can start your new career making top dollar.

If you want trucking company CDL school, then look at Earl Henderson Trucking Co. with their school in Troy, IL and no money needed.They furnish lodging and 3 meals a day while there.
