I drive a 2009 international prostar eagle (Unsure which engine is in it)
I got the truck back from the shop after a service and within the first 24hrs I am driving along the highway and all of a sudden without warning there was a bang, and then the dash gauges went all wonky before quitting completely and the truck shut down. There was a message of an electrical fault on the display. After checking the truck out about 5-10 minutes later I started the truck without an issue. Everything seemed normal and sounded normal so I continued my shift as dispatch said there was no codes on my truck. It did the same thing again. the truck went back into the shop and was told that this issue was caused by low fuel pressure. Took the truck out again the next night and once again the truck did this yet again and there is always no codes. Wondering if anyone has had this happen to them before and what it ended up being caused by.
P.S. Hoping someone can give me some ideas as this almost cause a serious accident... and really want to figure this out so it doesn't happen again! Thanks

Have them ck. and clean all ele. conn. leading to ECM.

Check fuse for ecm.

Yep, engine ECM is shutting off for some reason. ECM power and fuses are near the "Mega" fuses on the left side of the firewall kinda in behind the air cleaner. ECM ignition fuse is in the fuse panel in front of the passenger seat. Will be a 5 amp mini fuse. Pull the fuses right out and make sure the terminals in the fuse socket aren't spread or corroded, make sure the fuse has a good fit.
TruckerTeddy Thanks this. -
Thanks for your input. I am going to suggest this to the boss as I am not technically allowed to work on the truck (Company policy) but he is open to ideas as the shop is at a lose.
I don't know if this may be connected to the issue but I do know that the truck has an electrical fault message show up on the dash sometimes when starting the truck and I have no gauges when this happens and I have to use the kill switch to reset the trucks electrical system prior to restarting the truck.
