Sure... look away from the big box carriers and you can find them. Start by looking at small fleets in your area.

    Aside from the speed limiter,

You blow past scales just because you are on paper logs?

Being on paper logs gives you some sort of legal freedom from the HOS rules to the extent of posting your intent on a public forum?

Mikeeee, I think he means the spare truck doesn't have Prepass.

NegativeCold, the freedom you seek can be found on Craigslist.

I hear Watkins & Shepard is offering triple Freedom to drivers. :biggrin_25524:

I have prepass and pass scales in Chicagoland area 2-5 times a day driving local. I have not been hauled in more than once in the last 6 weeks!

Doesn't prepass give a greater opportunity to bypass scales? Without it you must enter all scales that are open even if you weigh 66K on the inroad scales prior and would have been given a bypass green.

Yup there's plenty of fleets w.fast trux&paper logs....but here's a hint....chances are they have their pick of drivers....they don't advertise...they already have a dozen or so folks w/one of on the list....and if you Do get a chance to interview w/one of them DONT ask how fast the truck will go
