Can I ask what Swifts standard requirements are for being eligible for a dedicated run?

If there is openings where you want to run, you're pretty much golden unless you have a preventables, service fails, etc.

Some runs require six months experience, 0 preventables, 0 service fails.

This might be a stupid question but why won't the Mac 9 ever let us adjust the time to an earlier time?

Sitting at the Pilot in Oak Grove, KY off I-24 waiting on a load to get me to my home time in Sumner this Sunday. Memphis keeps sending me silly load offerings. 2400+ miles and a little over 3 days on decent recap hours...hmmm. I might make it.

Do you want to go to Florida and take a load over the line into Georgia? No Memphis planners. Okay, we got one for you. How about a 0700 pickup tomorrow morning and a 0200 live unload the very next morning 400 miles away in the wrong direction? No thanks Memphis planners.

I guess at least I'm not sitting at the Elk Mountain, Wyoming Conoco getting my mudflaps blown off in a snowstorm.

Not sure. If you use Mac-9 to accept the load, then figure out you can be earlier (like if you call the customer and can pick up and/or deliver early), then use Mac-34. Use Mac-34 after doing your loaded call, or simply use the loaded call to show an earlier ETA and PTA. Whenever I do that it seems I'll need to follow up with my DM to make sure everything is correctly updated.

I usually do call the customer and see if I can pick up or drop earlier but a lot of times I'm just getting a voicemail and no return call. I also call my DM and see if they can do something but in the most recent case of this they said the time was the time. No window, etc.

Just curious why the Mac 9 will allow us to enter a later time and it will either accept it or say it doesn't meet the customers expectations. But when we put in an earlier time it automatically rejects it.

Still here in Lathrop. Had a pplan and then load and a nice back up and had to redo everything. Went through the truck wash and found out that Safelite busted one of the wiper arms, so waiting for the new one to come in figured out that just could not take to San Bernardino and get a 10 and could not to a split so gave up that one and lost a preloaded one from San Diego to El Paso. Was talking to the nice planners and they found me a nice one from Stockton in the morning going to Otay Mesa for tomorrow night. I know that on Friday will not have a problem getting out of there since their will be freight coming over the border for Friday and usually a nice lite one going east and staying south.

Delivery in Tulsa went smoothly, but had issues trying to get Mac-34 to accept an earlier PTA so I could get a load to OKC today. Had to call my DM to get the change done. Between calling the customer to deliver a day early, getting proactive with my PTA, then using Mac-30 to get a load nearby t-calling in OKC terminal; I'm now at my brother's place in Yukon, taking home time. Otherwise I would be cooling my heels in Tulsa and THEN getting a load delivering in OKC tomorrow night (live unload, no less).

    OceanDan and Moosetek13 Thank this.
