I'm baaaaaack!!!!!!!!

I know that's an old joke, but so am I.

 

Well, today marks a solid week since that woman cut my throat. I should be back at work today but will be hurting for the rest of the month because she couldn't be bothered to listen to three experienced truckers telling her she couldn't make the turn. My blood still boils when I think of where I could be if she hadn't been so #### stupid.

Sigh.

Time to start getting this whole sorry mess straightened out. I can only do that with miles. I need to take Sunday off to get a proper 34 cycle but this week is spooched anyway so it won't hurt me that bad.

Heeere we go....

 

At the only Sapp Brothers in PA. Gonna make Allentown in the morning, short haul to York, pick up another one in York and take it to Blufftown IN, then backtrack to Lima OH for a haul to Chicago. All by Tues 0700. No sweat.

Tuesday is my birthday. 48. Which is how many states I've hauled in.

In other news, Risinger has unleashed their might upon the employer of the woman who beat up Elsa. They have accepted liability and we are waiting for the estimate for repairs. Then a couple days negotiations, and when they pay Risinger I will get paid for my down time and truck rental. Hopefully by the end of the month.

I am tired of chasing my dreams. I'm going to find out where they are headed and just hook up with them later.

 

I saw a forklift picking up a crate of forks the other day and I had to leave. It was just way too literal for me.

 

Saw a wino eating grapes. I walked up to him and said, "Yo, dude, you got the right idea, but you gotta wait a while."

 

I'll be up around 0630 and rolling by 0730. Gonna see my brother for lunch in Allentown then scram. I got a little time on these runs but wanna get ahead of schedule. Sorry we won't get to meet.
