Getting live loaded in Clinton, OK; then headed to Aurora, CO with a load stacked to Casper from there.

Had a GREAT 34 hour reset on "home time" with my brother in OKC. Finally holding my own in cribbage against him.

Started the day at 9:45 am, now need to start playing "work up" to my favorite schedule starting at 2:00 am. Hopefully I'll find a place to park around midnight tonight somewhere in SE Colorado.

 

That's awesome lol. I really wish I had gotten one of those. I wonder what Swift would have done if you had actually done it?

 

jv terminal.....got a rare 2 trip ross load today. both were one pickup each in city of industry ca. one for 9 am and the other for 1400. on my way to the first shipper,got a message. read it when i got to shipper and they took off the 2nd trip. anyways, delivered the 1st load and asked for a local trip. while having lunch, received plan to p/u at ross dc and tcall in jv terminal. found a flat tire on the loade trailer.wasnt all the way flat,so drove here and took it to tire shop for repairs. about 1.5 hrs later got done. so whoever takes this load to nj, your welcome

 

Swift??? Them I can deal with ... Mexican authorities on the other hand. I really don't care to be the next cause celebre on Fox News.

 

No idea what Mexican laws are for us driving there but any firearm or ammo would land you in a heap of trouble. Well and the hijacked ,dismembered, and buried in the desert by drug gang thing. I'm wondering with a valid passport if it would have worked. I have one and had it in my truck when I was otr. I can only imagine my DM's reaction when I called for fuel because my comdata card did not seem to be working right.

 

At a friendly Walmart in Corssett, AR waiting for my load to be ready at the GP plant here, then headed to Fargo. Any suggestions for good food and parking in the Dakotas? Stopped at the local choke and puke on I-530 ex 20 just south of Little Rock. Had a really good diner burger for short money. The diner is in the Valero, and there's tons of parking. A solid two stars out of three. It's not much to look at but the folks are nice and the food is yummy.

 

Salome, AZ. Found out that this load does not need to be there until Wednesday so decided to just take my time and deliver on Tuesday afternoon and wait until morning. Better chance to get a load Wednesday morning then late Tuesday afternoon.

 

Give Command a call, they might be able to get you something that you can grab on Tuesday and deliver Wednesday.

 

Knocking off another place on my bucket list for taking a 10, the rest area about 25 miles south of Lamar, CO on US-287. I picked up this load this morning in Clinton, OK and will deliver tomorrow afternoon in Aurora, CO; have a preplan to pick up at the same DC in Aurora and deliver in Casper, WY tomorrow night. Nice couple of days work after coming off my 34.

 

Is that the one just south of the wind farm and on the west side?
