Has anyone out there used a independent dispatch service before?

No, but I'm kind of curious about it myself... would be nice to have someone getting loads I like lined up so I don't have to spend all that time looking and calling and researching etc. Not sure I'd ever trust someone to do it for me though....

I have and she was awesome!!!! I paid her a flat $100 a week and she kept me moving. She was a broker for a large firm and did dispatching on the side for me and two other guys. She had family problems and couldn't do it anymore.

I am dispatching my one truck and 4 others. They just run under my MC. I don't know how independent dispatchers book loads for different mc's. You gotta remember who is who, then signing contracts, then everybody is throwing a fit on where they wanna go and where they don't.
I gotta say that good dispatchers are totally worth their money. I met quite a few o/o who just run like chickens in the dark, not knowing what they are doing

I dispatch mine and I dispatch 4 other people under their MC. Its easy. I have access to their business email addresses, I have files for each one saved on the cloud with all their dispatches, their authority, insurance cert and W9. And they all factor with the factoring company I use so that makes it easy as well. It's all about organization. I was an OS in the Navy so multitasking comes easy to me. I run those guys with the same care I run my own trucks

I work with one who has his own company and trucks but dispatches others as well. He charges 100 bucks a load
