Beer In Sleeper 392.5a

It doesn't matter if I agree with it or not. It's the law. And to continue to do my job, I have to adhere to the law. I do not drink except for maybe a drink at dinner a few times a year at home. So it does not affect me.

 

I drive a truck about 1 day per week on average, and I find it totally mind blowing that someone holding a CDL, and using it for their career every day, is not aware that carrying alcohol in the truck is against the law. Wow.

If I'm in the sleeper them I'm not going to be on duty. If im in the sleeper then I won't be operating it either.

Whats the problem besides some company alcohol policy?

 

And just so I don't get lumped into the so called self-righteous hypocrite column. I will have some beer with my dinner once in parked for the night.

My choice and I will live with the consequences if there was an issue.
