You can get the Silver Star Sylvania bulbs online for way less than the parts stores.
They do help if the headlights are adjusted right.....much whiter light and the beam is wider.
I did this on a Freightliner and a ProStar and it helped a lot.
If the lenses are faded at all it will really distort the light too...

I was the same way.....thought my vision was going!

Yes...I have used that 3M kit....clears them up good.
The mothers power ball and plastic polish after the sanding does good too.

Now everyone is taking Sylvania Silverstar bulbs what you want is Sylvania Silverstar Ultra bulbs.

Now someone (ant g ?) was talking bulb colors. He was right for where they need to be by the law but what someone else think meant was clear bulbs "burn" or work at different color heat ranges. Stock OEM bulbs burn on the yellow side where the Sylvania Silverstar Ultra burn more to the white side.
The hotter the burn (whiter) the less life they will have no way around it.

Someone also said do a HID swap kit. The same goes for the HID bulbs on the burn/color range.

Think you said the leans is not cloudy and that is a good start. I would then install Sylvania Silverstar Ultra bulbs or do a HID swap and make sure they are adjusted right. If they still don't work right might want to look into projector light swap.

The other thing to look for is LED head lights but don't know if they make them for all models of truck and the ones they do are $$$$$.

Yes I do run Sylvania Silverstar Ultra in my personal SUV and love them, I just deal with the shorter life.

Volvo headlamps work great if you aim them right. Most are aimed way too low for a lamp system with such a razor sharp cutoff.
