The problem with the Beavertail is you can't ever flip the ramps up and have a flat deck on top. There's too much weight in that kind of ramp. Then that low overhang scrapes everywhere.

I have pulled a 3 ramp beavertail. We loaded on top on the ramps. Securement was sometimes a pain in the ###. But it worked. And it's only a 5 foot overhang behind the back axle and not much lower then a icc bumper. My 53' has a 10 foot overhang. Imagine all the times I've scrappedMJ1657 Thanks this.

When I step- decked I would stop somewhere & get some RR ties. If they loaded me fine. If they didn't I had some landscaping for my yard. It didn't bother me besides, there was always some rate cutting bottom feeding outfit that would load it.
