    I'm gonna tell my story.
A year ago I went to C1 in Indy to start my new career. After 3 weeks of piss poor instructors in #### equipment belittled everything we did I'd had enough. I would advise anyone to not go through that. And their companies suck.
I took a job hauling boats and such non cdl f endorsement for a year.
My best friend of 15 years decided he wanted to get in the industry. After a year OTR I was ready to try again too. This time from recommendations from a few friends we found our school.
We chose Tennessee truck driving school. In our first week we had very good classroom instruction and our permit. My backing sucked because I literally couldn't learn at C1. He'd never driven before. Week two was straight line and offset backing. We both mastered it with ease and our instructor had 32yrs experience. A true breeze.
Week 3 was 90 degree alley dock and street driving. So after a week of more very good instruction we tested friday and both passed and got our CDLs!
we head to Total tomorrow for orientation 😊

Went there, C-1, back in 2001. Had 1 hour of actual on road driving. Still to this day wonder how the #### I passed the state driving test.Best of luck to you and your buddy. Stay safe and keep your hands out of your britches and the truck between the ditches

Years ago I hauled boats out of Murfreesboro; ProCraft, coast-to-coast & border-to-border.

I hauled mastercraft, yamaha, Malibu and supra boats all around the country. Very much enjoyed it.

Are you and your buddy going to run teams?
Hope you get the miles at Total; seems to be a good company.
If it doesn't work out then look at Quest Global Inc. in Cartersville, GA.
This company has unlimited time off which is unusual for trucking companies.
