Port Allen, LA. Other than idiots in Houston on the roads a uneventful day. Received message this morning from Command asking me for a update. Told them that mt Tuesday night and looking for decent load on Wednesday. The last that I heard from her. Probably get another message tomorrow asking for another update and will just tell them the same. Seems that this agent can not find something until either the day of getting mt or the day before.
Good Night From II

Columbia, MT.
An uneventful day.
I had a quick live unload, then an extended live load that took nearly 3 hours.
It could have been worse. When I arrived at 1200 I was assigned a door and backed into it, then waited nearly 2 hours before they started loading.
As I was waiting 4 other trucks got in line for the same door. I consider myself lucky.
I wonder what time that last truck will get loaded.
Now I'm headed to Plaquemine, LA for a Friday delivery. -
I'm working on a new record, kind of like when you pull into a business that has a big sign that says "X days without an injury"...
... except mine says, "X days without a flat tire".
One day, to be precise.
Taking a 10 at the Petro in North Las Vegas. All the laundry machines are being used, and I'm down to my last pair of underwear. Might be time to use the old college "pressure wash" method (put all the dirty clothes in a big pile and use the ones at the bottom... they've been pressure washed).Moosetek13, OceanDan and Cjh_army Thank this. -
lepton....or you can go buy new clothes lol.
Lepton1 Thanks this. -

Wow, I wish I could be there. Can't wait to see (well, hear) what Harvick will do this time.
I'm a 48 fan, but Harvick is on a roll. It seems that he can't be stopped, just like JJ for those several years.
Now, if only Danica could get her own ducks in a row...
Personally, I think she is holding back - afraid to 'feel the Force, Danni'...
JJ and Harvick are both in the Chase.
I can't wait for the shootout between them.

Loves off I-75 Ohio. Live load this morning in Seymour IN. Ran it up to Warren MI. Realized I was north of Canada. (G) OK well part of Canada. Buddy delivered in Buffalo headed out to a TS on the personal gps, had a brain fart, came to his senses on the bridge to Canada. Spent an hour plus as an illegal alien with the Cannuck authorities. They sent him back with a "#######" note telling USA authorities he was never out of their custody. He was extremely fortunate he was mt. Would have cost him some hefty coin if they had to empty freight to search. I was thankful I did take a wrong turn.
Dropped in Warren, then got this triple stop back to VA/NC. Another new one for me, our company has you fill out a trailer safety inspection sheet for both trailers. Need to scan both with trip sheet to get paid.
Realized I'll be heading back thru Chillicothe OH. Pilot there has a Moes. I like Moe's but I'd have to waste some time in the way to arrive when they are open. May miss eating their nachos again grrrrrr Anywho I enjoy that drive down through Charleston. Should be a fun day. -
Or just turn them inside out . Besides, they're not really dirty until they have more skid marks than that stoplight just over the brow of that hill in the middle of nowhere .Lepton1 Thanks this.

I had one of those a couple weeks ago.
It was for Ford.
A triple stop to 3 Ford dealers.
I don't know why they make us fill out an inspection sheet, after they accepted the mt and loaded it themselves.
If they were THAT concerned about the condition of the trailer they should inspect them as they come in by their OWN people!
Rather like Miller/Coors does in Golden. They simply don't let a trailer come in that does not pass their inspection.
And it's not like they are 'high value' loads. Just random automotive parts.
I guess they just consider themselves more 'high profile' or something.
A case of having a big head.OceanDan Thanks this.
