Hey guys I have a question for you and I would like to know any ideas and all of your inputs. I am trying to use everything available to me but I want to know how to do you guys advertise for drivers you hire? I have done Monster, Indeed and shamefully Craigslist. I don't want to keep continuing wasting unnecessary money but know its needed. We don't care where drivers reside because they can take their trucks home. We have new equipment with APUs, fridges, etc. Paying from .36 to .42 cpm depending on experience and our drivers now are getting up to 3400 miles a week. Have one guy getting a $1400 check this Friday just from 2 loads. I don't know what else to offer or where else to put ads.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance

36-42 cents a mile may be the problem. You are not going to attract any good drivers for anything less than 45 cents a mile.

I've seen some companies park their trucks near a highway or at a truckstop with a "driver wanted" sign. If appropriate an ad with tear off phone numbers at your customer where drivers get their BOL's ? Or at truckstops where the other ad rag's are at.

Yes we offer benefits. So thats not a problem. I didn't know people were paying that high per mile for newbies or people with less than 5 yrs experience. I was/am going by what I have seen others pay and I haven't seen anything over .42 rarely .44.

What's your contact info?I'm not sure yet but I may be looking,22 yrs experience, clean mvr,2million safe miles.I've owned several trks over the yrs.but it is hard working for someone after you've been working for yourself. working for a nice lady now and make pretty good but equipment is substandard. my name is Billy and give me a call sometime, looking for somewhere my wife can drive ,she has four years experience. but we like to run more like a super single than a team,we like to shut down together after about 800 miles. you can put my name in YouTube and see two videos, Billy basenberg. thanks

At that rate Craigslist or hang up signs in the truck stop and parole office, county jail or halfway house.

Hey I think last time I was bailing someone out I saw signs for western express on the bulletin board in the bail bond office. No kidding!
