TX is easy. I use my parents' address there. Since I don't have a lease or mortgage, I just showed up at the DMV with a bank statement and pay stub for proof of address (plus all the normal stuff like birth certificate, social security card, etc.) I want to say it cost like sixty bucks, but can't quite remember. You don't have to do any tests again, unless you have hazmat.

Getting the car registered was a different story, but that was mainly because it couldn't pass inspection.

At first I'll be getting a MO CDL, using the Campus Inn for my address (Prime gave.me a letter of residence). From there for most folks it's a simple matter of swapping it for a license from their home state. But IL makes people transferring out of state CDL's retake all the driving tests because they're jerkholes. A few drivers who've been around a few months have told me they're still using their MO licenses with the Campus Inn address, but I'm afraid I'd get in trouble if I got caught doing that.
