I was browsing the Truck Paper website, entered a search for Peterbilt 359 in Maine, and found THIS: http://www.truckpaper.com/listings/detail.aspx?OHID=1695339&guid=D469DE71619E4E2FAF640F2FCACC2D9E

    Here's a pic: [IMG]

    The specs:
Year 1987 Manufacturer PETERBILT Model 359 Price US $35,000 Location Portland, Maine Condition USED Sleeper Size 144" Sleeper Double Eagle Engine Specs Caterpillar Engine Type 3406B Horsepower 425 Mileage 340,000 Transmission 13 Spd Check for Over Drive No Engine Brake Yes Suspension Air Ride Ratio 355 Tires 22.5LP Wheels All Aluminum Wheelbase 320" Number of Rear Axles Tandem Front Axle Lbs 14,300 Rear Axle Lbs 34,000

Now is that a sweet ride for the price or what?? :biggrin_2553:

You'd have to take off 4k pounds of junk for it to be really cool but the price is good for that big bunk

How much does a sleeper this size impact mpg? The one on truckweb.com looks wonderful. It says "Trucks to retire with" Well, that depends on the question above.
I am going to just post a link to the video that shows the room of the 144" sleeper. AHHHHH! Wouldn't this be a dream. I'll wait another year before I dream that big.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-gQZp07v9M&eurl (I still screw up everytime I try to post a video and title it) eh!
