The casscadia is not as quiet as the areodynamic volvos. I was kind of disappointed in that fact. AS for it being quiet it is hard to beat the areodynamic volvos. For me it has to deal with interior setup and looks of the truck. So I would have to go with the Kenworth T-660. Very nice, comfortable to drive, and quiet but not as quiet as the volvos. I don't know why it is but I got a carpet or rug burn on the inside of my right elbow when I drove a Pete 386. I think it had to do with so much shifting that the armrest gave me carpet burn. The trans, engine, rearend were not matched. I was in between gears at 55mph. I really don't care for the controls for certain items being on the sticks on volvos. The ride was actually worse in the volvo than it was in the kenworth T660 or the Pete 386. I know I really jump around but bear with me. I really do not like the new prostars. Bad experiences with them but such items are no longer affecting them so I will let it go at that. We really have a mixed bunch of trucks at work. I could tell you what I like and dislike about every single truck, but I won't because that would take up way to much space. I have not driven a new Pete 389 so as of right now I would have to go Kenworth T660, Pete 386, then Volvo would be in third place.

Volvo's By far feel like the most comfortable truck around. But I love the peterbilts for their styling, which they cab was a little wider though ;)

I havent found one I hate yet. The one I have liked the most is an International Eagle, also a Kenworth T600.

I drove a 2004 volvo 670 and 2006 volvo 670 over about a 1 year time period. They are the most manuverable tractor and have alot of room inside. However, after driving a peterbilt you will realize why pete's cost so much more. they handle the road alot better and do not have much body roll as do the swedish cab-over's, I mean volvos. When you hit a bump in the road in a 379 the suspension absorbes the bump, in a volvo you absorb the bump. When you are on a long haul in a volvo you will become irritated as hell by the steers always drifting from left to right and it can wear you out by constantly having to pull back on the wheel. In a Pete where you point the truck is where it stays. It's not about looks for me it's about a good handling truck on a long haul so I don't feel as tired at the end of the day.
