My first job in HS, working at a McD's, they used to send the new people downstairs to get bottles of special sauce.........store didn't have basement, or when the shake machine would start to squeal, they would tell them to go find a bottle of shake lube.
When we got married, my wife had a little Bronco II, the rear windshield washer fluid bottle was right behind the right taillight. Every time I would fill it, she'd ask what I was doing, I'd stop and tell her that her right blinker fluid bottle was low, and every time she'd fall for it. The worst part though was that her Dad was a life long mechanic, she helped him in the shop, and every time she would fall for it. Twice I did it right in front of him, he'd grin and she'd still fall for it. Even got her with muffler bearings a couple of times.
Wild goose chases.....

I got a couple ups and fedex guys good... I'm not sure where I got it from but I can keep a straight face and toss jokes in as if it were casual conversation.
Did you know that fedex and ups are merging? (Okay, it's a little mean. But it's funny to see them get crazy panicked...it's also easy to see which ones read and keep up with the company bulletins.)
Wait a little while and then add, "yep! I hear the new company is going to be called FedUp."
I only had to run once...the rest got a good laugh out of it. -
The good ole days, lol.Lifes too short, gotta have some fun.
Vilhiem, allniter and MZdanowicz Thank this. -
I only ever encountered one car that had a separate rear washer tank, my mom's old 1989 Plymouth Colt Vista wagon. That was a good car.
I sold it up in Iowa. Guy wanted a beater to drive around and jumped at the chance to get a small wagon with a 5 speed that spent most of its life in the New Mexico desert. No road salt corrosion. [emoji4] -
anyone know what I am suppose to do or how I can use these left handed ratchet straps for my trailer......I been trying to figure it out but I am right handed...
-
well I tried that but the handle still on the left side.....I think I am just going to have to throw these out and buy me some right handed ratchet straps...
-
-
if i turn them around then i can't work the handle as the handle will be on the inside....lets face it left handed ratchet straps were not meant for right handed people...
I just put them up on ebay....maybe i can find a left handed person who will buy it....
