I'm not a cheerleader for Prime but c'mon man.. at least post accurate information.
oh and company drivers get PAID EXTRA based on their MPG, that's why you see them going slower.
If all trucking companies paid extra money based on MPG you would see a whole lot more trucks slowing down.

Sorry you got shafter but Prime has been a bottom feeder company from the beginning. All they care about is making money and screwing drivers. How do i know, a very good friend is still digging himself out of the hole prime put him in. Sad part is there are drivers lining up to get screwed....
TruckDuo Thanks this. -
Cheerleader if I ever saw one. That bonus is a joke compared to all the miles you could have run further that week going 65 ran 680 a day at 65mph on a great day at 43cpm you'll be lucky to run 580 miles a day at 62 do the math that's 700 miles less that you can possibly run due yoir spred 700 miles is about 300$ how much is that bonus again? Pls stop !#÷× riding prime

You really can't tell the difference between the OP and the other stuff?

Let's get the dispatchers and recruiting staff on here while we're at it tell us how much were saVing by not being able to go the extra distance every single day.

As a L/o you're saving bundles driving slow as a company driver you're just left short handed I avg about 7.9 mpg at 62 mph in this truck good for Prime bad for me.

Dude are you even a truck driver or pulled a Reefer?
Reefer is a lot of appointment times, I've been there done that with Shaffer.
If you have an extra 4 hours on your hands to get to your appointment and know you can earn extra $$$$ by driving 57 instead of 62 why not?
what else are you gonna do with the few minutes you save by going faster? troll threads on the truckersreport? lol
People do math in their minds endlessly of "oh if I drive this amount of miles at # MPH I can earn this amount etc etc"
In the real world is a different story, freight isn't always there waiting for you and you have to deal with appointment times.
In an endless supply of drop and hook freight with no appointments sure it makes sense to knock out as many miles as possible.
It ain't like that in Reefer world. -
One of the 1st things i learn about trucking"never ever lease, lease purchase, lease whatever"The risk outweighs the benefit.Reading here it seems like 30% of leasers make it,and 70% tank bad.Working hard 2-3 years as a company driver, and save money to get your own truck, and be a real OO is too long for some people.

How much distance are you going to get at 65? how would you need to drive to attempt it? Passing anytime your cruise tells you to or speeding around in the truck stop/construction zones? ###### driver.

I just think I could do better for a L/P would rather buy a truck hard cash but not sure the industry is worth staying in. Truck driving is a thankless job. We're treated like garbage by everyonem EVERYONE. It's a cold day in hell I ever feel appreciated for what I do. I've never leased and neVer Will. Prime should offer way more support for the fat% they take from the freight Rev and high truck payment.
