If you want to give me by Monday, I can speak with my recruiter regarding getting a phone interview with you ASAP! I will try my best to get some solid information about your state hiring procedures and so on. Just check back on Monday afternoon or PM me with a contact number...
Did you fill out a online application as of yet? And, if so when you had spoken to them was it a phone call made by you or them? -
No didn't fill out an app. When I talked to their recruiter, besides experience, part of problem was I also lived too far away from any of their hubs.
-
It still wouldn't be hard for me to try. Do you have family in N.J.?
-
You're going to need boots.I have a pair of timberlands and they are so comfortable but spendy. The hose could weigh up to 100 lbs.Yes you drag it but its work more so for a female that's never done this type of hauling. I found climbing the ladder not bad but getting on top of the trailer to open the lid was scarely for me.I would ask if you get paid for loading and unloading. It can take up to an hr to do both.Once you get close to empty you'll need to stay on top on the trailer so you can close the manhole cover when you're done.

More power to you name4ever for trying tanker out.But make sure to ask Schneider if there is additional pay for loading and unloading.
-
No, no one in N.J.

Hi Patty,
How have you been? Thank you for the encouragement as well! They are asking us to have steel toe boots for the position. And, that is one of the fears that I have to overcome too!... For loading/ and unloading they said $25. Is that good? -
Let us see tomorrow what God have in store for you. Keep Faith Always!

You'll hear all about "Surge', but that much be experienced firsthand, before you really understand what it is and how it feels, and how much extra careful you have to be.
Alot of chemical plants are mazes and you have to be on your toes at all times. Second guess everything. Double check everything. Know where the nose of your tractor, the tail of your trailer, the bottom and the top of you vehicle are at all times. If you have to get out 20 times and look at something, then do it. But Alot of places you go to won't be bad at all.
I haul doubles, so I'm always breaking the set apart and taking the trailers to different customers. It's Alot different than dryvan and I wouldn't have it any other way
