If you don't limit yourself to just one company, there is plenty of work between OKC and Wichita. Enid, OK is pretty close to Wichita and has lots of work. There is work in KS even. Once you get to know that area from Wichita down to Stillwater and just to the west of I-35, you'll find plenty of options. It does all depend on how it all makes it through these price declines though.

The key to getting into a different PSL or yard is manager approval, he/she needs to release you. Your manager can screw with you a lot when you're trying to leave. If your biggest concern is money, stay in the states, people don't work overseas for the money.

Um interesting I know im all over this forum looking for the right position to get my foot in the door to make money on the oil fuels. What companies beside halliburton hire new drivers.

Also what is the pay rate?

Sorry to hear that. They have laid off some of our rig crews. Hot oilers and pump truck work is down as is the winch trucks. We are still hauling water though. They did cut our pay by $1.00 an hour but I am glad to be working. Got a little over 40 hours the week before last and almost 70 this past week.
