Overall, a true (compressor type) refrigerator draws a LOT less power than a Peltier-based cooler like the Coleman and Koolatron. The problem with them is that the startup current is far more than a lighter socket inverter can deliver.

A 12V specific refrigerator like the Truckfridge will run beautifully on a lighter socket.

How do you get access? Seems like an important tool for o/os.

Yes how do you gain access? Is all communication done by phone? Is Command the only broker Swift uses? I'm so inquisitive because I'm pondering the O/O route.

Good luck trying to get on it. My friend has been trying to get on it for at least 6 or 7 months, it's nice when you do get on it though you have a lil bit more options when swift has a dead area for freight.

    Thanks, MsJamie.

The next time I have $500 to drop on a fridge I'll get one.
    That is quite expensive, however.

Oklahoma City...lived here for over three years, so I consider it a second home. Got one more load to finish out my settlement, going west of Baton Rouge, which will make my most successful week for two months @ 2,900 miles. I went back to work after the most regrettable Vegas vacation ever. Due to road closures, icy weather, planner screw ups, and lack of freight in some areas, I was barely managing to knock off 1,500-1,600 miles a week for weeks on end.
Got a question for you guys. Do you have an open line to the planners, so to coordinate together for the next load, or are they invisible to you? I'm out of Lewiston where there aren't planners....I have a curious feeling this is hurting me somehow.

You're right about the cost but it was worth it for me . Even with fresh batteries I couldn't go 12 hours without my Prostar going to load shed. Its larger capacity than the Coleman but it fits in the hole without eliminating the drawer . The small freezer actually keeps stuff frozen . I recommend it but again , the cost is considerable .

nobluffbuff.... planner's name will be at bottom of the preplan. usually has their name then their code. mac 13 them for their direct number. the planners are located in the area you are at,not you home terminal. hope this helps

camrillo ca. at custumer getting loaded. while i opened the door to trailer at the terminal gate this morning, saw some light at the front. walked to front and saw a goodsize hole in the side front corner. dont know how i missed this last nite when i picked it up at the walmart dc on site. anyways, took it to the damage trailer lane and put paper saying hole. then spent 1.5 hrs looking for a mt here. finally got this one on the walmart side. older 99 series. was only 15 minutes late for my 1000 appt. shipper didnt say anything. guess i have to get my eyes rechecked lol
