Roughly how big is the fridge in the T680? Will it hold say a 12 pack of can drinks and some meat? Also does it have a freezer compartment?

Yeah, but hauling freight at 90cpm for $800 versus driving 900 miles for $0 affects your revenue and ultimately your bottom line cpm will be lower in that scenario. So you haul for 90cpm and your break even is 96cpm. You bobtail 800 miles your break even is still 96cpm and you are getting 0cpm. The whole point is to avoid those areas completely but if I take a really good paying load and have to take a cheap one out of the area I'm going to at least get some revenue for the trouble.

Yes, it will hold all that and more, and it has a small freezer. You can get a couple of swanson dinner in there, Thermostatic control, quiet, bearings to open and close easy.
    You will really like it.

I was driving a 680 as a company driver and really got spoiled. Then came over to the Cascadia and it was a shock (WTF?). Can't wait till October to get back in the 680. The comforts and benefits are too much to list.

The 680 I had, had a factory inverter installed under the bunk with 120v outlets on the wall. Swivel seat, ect, ect,. It's easy to get used to this stuff.

I got a load from Aurora, CO to Montgomery, IL for $1.11 before LOL

The problem is freight in CA, especially Socal, should be paying $2/mile minimum to make up for the poor paying freight in other regions. The stuff coming out of Socal is paying $1.80 at best, with $1.60 pretty common. Total waste of time being out here.

The load I am getting unloaded on right now was 1700 miles paying $2950. I saw the same exact load picking up next week and it's only paying $2200. Fuel prices seem down and bit and fuel discount just went up so perhaps the surcharge is decreasing. However there are a more cheap loads than normal even in the midwest right now.

Check that "daily market update" TONS of trucks in the midwest and undersold in a lot of areas.

I got sucked into the Northeast again.
Ohio load to Buffalo area 240 miles at $4 a mile
Then from Buffalo to Shippensburg, PA 300 miles $2 a mile
Haven't figured out what to do next...
