Starting out training today, and I'm curious where you guys like to run.
I would prefer to run the west/southwest,but this is from a greenhorn perspective.
I would like to know where you guys enjoy driving.
Thanks in advance for all replies.

Midwest, comparatively little traffic and a truck stop at every exit. I can handle snow and crappy roads for the other conveniences.

Ken Worth and ncmickey Thank this.

Definitely at home. If I have the runs I just feel better accomplishing what I need to do at home. Or if im gonna take a shower out on the road, doing my business before I get in the shower.......:biggrin_25523:

Washington, Oregon, Utah, Idaho and Colorado is pretty much where I stay as I love the mountains and know the area. Besides in the winter time its fun to watch all the Southern drivers cluster up into a ball at the truck stop when they see a snow flake fall.

West coast. For our company "back east" means Reno. Okay, maybe SLC if the rate is good. Otherwise we stay close to home.
