Mitrucker,
I'm in a freightliner. I run mostly during the day as I am a Solar powered truck driver. We go all over, We have dedicated accounts out of SD going all over. I have been running mostly south east as I live and Drill in NC. We also go to Canada. I have been to CA and Washington. Didn't have my passport yet so couldn't enter Canada. Still haven't been there.
Running my elog I try to work between 0600-2000 and for the most part I have been able to run this way in the Flatbed Div. Idon't know about the other divisions. When I hired on I had only 2 request. 1: I did not want to see a grocery warehouse unles it was being built or torn down and 2: Get me home for my National Guard commitment. They have met both.Last edited: Mar 16, 2015

DenaliDad, I seen in another post by you that you have concerns with flatbedding at your age. As long as you are organized and in pretty good shape, and careful, you won't have a big problem. I have had 2nd and 3rd career altrainees in the past that where your age or close, and they did fine. Flatbed isn't really hard....it's just harder than banging doors.
DenaliDad Thanks this. -
i just have to think about inclement weather... -
Have you called and talked to Kassi yet? See if you get a different answer from her. If nothing else, go out with a trainer like someone suggested to just get rolling again.

Greetings Mr Ed and Lost Navigator. Started researching Britton about a month ago and found your threads here. I am starting orientation April 6th. Ed, Senta advised me that you will be my flatbed trainer. Looking forward to meeting you soon. Looking forward to joining the Britton Team!

Welcome aboard Topher54. Ed is a great guy and I know you will learn a great deal from him. This job is an ongoing learning experience, as I learn something new every day.
