How can jack wagon companies stay in business.....

People looking for an image and not wanting to research. Of course the lowest paying company has to resort to this. This video is ridiculous.

 

I tried not to watch that video, finally hit play and wish I didn't... those are 39 seconds of regret. As far as the company goes? I see them everyday and by the looks of their trucks and drivers, they are not clearing 180k:b. iggrin_2551:

Just look at Uber... $0 investment, 0 training, none of the fees and crap associated with running a cab, mostly youth involved as drivers and what happend? Strikes & protests!

Wait until trucking companies only pool to recruit from is this group.....

3+ weeks training at a school
3-6+ training at company
Earning $300 or less paychecks

They will be blasted on social media, regular media(due to outrage), trucks will shut down.

Some of the bottom feeders are complaining they want to hire 18 year olds, but that will blow up in their face once they cross them and try to rip them off.

 

If and I say IF the ATA gets it's way and we start seeing 18 yr olds on the roads, can anyone imagine the companies pushing lease/own deals on them?

I can and with great fervor. Can anyone say "lot's of good used trucks for sale"?

I can also say ruined credit for the 18 yr olds as well. Oh sure, they will recover, I mean it ain't like many 18 yr olds own a home as many probably live in their parents basement already.

Companies like CR England were once really very good, until the advent of student loans, became nearly impossible for some due to bad credit scores, maybe arrest records, etc. So many of these companies "saw the light" in Federal funding for training.

At CR England for instance, at one of thier training locations, they teach you, they provide lodging, some if not all meals. Then they test you.

Fail and you go home. Oh yeah wait, before you even got there, you had to switch over from your state to thier state your driver's license, and then get a permit. Now, fail, you go back home and have to switch all over again.

Of course, if you pass, you go home, but now you switch that Indiana or Utah CDL for your state's CDL.

It's all legal eagle. And every day, rummies apply to CR England, then get forced into a lease deal.

No company should have to force anyone into any deal.

 

Enough P/O'd parents would nip that in the bud. They just started reigning in on these cash advance places and adding more consumer protection laws. Exploiting 18 year olds in these lopsided "deals" will probably get enough pressure to prevent them from ever leasing again.

 

I would hope so, but would you believe that freshmen college students with no credit, can get credit cards and rack up bills like no mad housewife can?

This extends their over all debt. And mommy and daddy are many times unaware of this, till kiddies come crying about the collection agencies!
