How hurting are O/O's?!!

You can't honestly say that you would be happy with paying that for fuel, can you? Wouldn't you rather pay $2.50 a gallon like a few years ago? I'm not saying that I think we'll ever see that again, but you have to admit that your bottom line would be alot sweeter if it did, right?

 

Look I am a O/O and still pull loads from time to time..

I haul Antique Trucks,cars and tractors..

I have been mortgage free for 15 years so you can not put that spin on me...LOL

And I just do not fall into the brainwashing B/S thing that you throw out to everyone on how your doing..

I also own and run 2 other businesses and have been in business longer then you..And for you to be asking me questions as far as I am concerned you are out of bounds..It is none of your business on how people conduct there business and I also find that very rude..You are a rookie in my eyes and I will leave it at that

I feel that everyone is getting rapped on fuel and home heating cost and it has effected a lot of good people out there.

But the real deal is here..That peoples retirement is getting sucked up by all of this and I see that you say is..That they were not planned for this..Guess what your dead wrong my friend You also act like money grows on trees well it does not..

I have been working hard ever sense I was a kid and still continue even though I really do not have to. And everything I have has been bought and paid forNo loans out at all.

I am sick of paying high prices for everything because of the oil going up..And I am taking a stance on how what I believe in that is right.

And if you are any kind of business man at all I hope that your plan is to cut back on stuff like I am because my plan I feel is going to work better and cheaper then giving into the greed..

Remember one thing..I care about people and caring about people and helping ones that need veggies and food this summer.. Will make me happy and remember one more thing..MONEY DOES NOT BUY HAPPINESS..

The bottom line would not be any better.... The rising cost of fuel is bringing freight rates higher by thinning the herd who are unwilling/unable to adjust.... In many areas brokers are scrambling for trucks to cover loads, and that means more moolah for those of us who know how to run a business......

I don't get you Hilltop and I am starting to think you are just a Swift comapny driver who likes to talk like he is a businessman but in reaility you are not.

First you try to "brainwash" us in to how rough it is out there, tell us how you have to grow your own veggies, bake your own bread, etc. etc.

When questioned on all this you get real defensive and explain that you are a o/o who drives from time to time, and you own and run 2 other businesses as well and have been doing it longer than me.

If and IF you have been in business longer than me and you haul antiuqe trucks, and run 2 other businesses then you SHOULD be doing well for your self.

Get into the real world here, do you honestly think Big Diesel and Myself are the only 2 O/O's making money right now?

There are plenty of o/o's making money out there right now (mainly the ones with their own authority)

There is no greed in fuel or heating prices, simpily life. Majority of countries are paying WAY more than us.

It is obvious you have no clue on why the housing market is the way it is, why the fuel prices are they way they are.

Like I said before, I think you are just a company man if a trucker at all.

And another thing,

You are sure on here alot (a lot more than me) busy posting and watching and stuff.

I jump on here everytime I get to a shipper, reciver, home, bed, etc. etc. etc. but you have been busy posting on here all day which is the reason I think you are not even a trucker at all.

 

I am a trucker and I have been one back when you were in your diapers....

I doubt your are even a trucker my self.. You seem to live here all the time and logged on..

I have 3 emplyees that work for me and I can sit at a desk and handle the paper work..

Please do us a favor..With and answer the questions that a few of us asked you last week that you have not done.

Like I said to you it is none of your business how I conduct the business of my companys..

I am wiser in not blatting out on how I conduct business..

What do you think I should buy my bread at a store and buy my other food there as well and is that what your saying?


O/O that are making money now does not mean that they are going to be 6 months from now..Plain and simple Economy is drying up and when you land on your face..

I know more about the housing market more then you my friend..People got suckerd into stupid loans and that credit card spending was off the carts as well...

I have a clue about what is going on and if you ever insult me again I will file a complaint with this forum..

I make money and I make good money and I do not need to brag about it it.. And how I cunduct my business you none of yours..Can you understand that one?
