Why not bring rats in your truck?
You already have bats in your belfry.

I got to admit, you guys have some funny stuff to say, as I would have, and sadly, you all my have taken the wind out of any response from me.

That being said, to the o/p, I would imagine that as long a s the "pets" are in a cage, there should be no real problem. Of course however, you really ought to ask any employer you go to. They will either say yes or no, even when they ask you what you have or not.

Rodents of any type, typically are clean, and any odors from them, will be due to YOU not keeping the cage clean. What you MUST be aware of is the all too real possibility of one or both getting out. Rodents by their very nature, chew things as thier teeth continually grow. If the interior of that truck is ruined, or even if they manage to find an escape route, and get into the electrical system, they may not be zapped dead, but they will certainly chew through the wires, shorting out things.

many wire insulation from starting say around the late 1990's, has been made not only of plastic, but actually soybean. Plastic does not give off any odor when it gets hot, but soybean insulation DOES give off an odor, that attracts rodents. I know this to be true, as it has happened to a family member of mine. Look that up, soybean insulated wires.

SO, you may very well be allowed the rodents, but if any damage occurs, you might be in a heap of crap.

Best post of the week and I do not think anyone has to fill out a hurt feelings report.
I would say you could take them with you as long as there is a cage involved.

As mentioned I would ask the company but most likely if they allow ferrets (which some do), then a rat or two isn't a problem.

I had a girlfriend who had three rats as pets, they were clean, trained and had the run of the apartment when she was home. She also had two cats and a dog - all of them got along quite well.

You missed all the links to the nudie sites, and man, are they ever soooooo gooooood.!

The only problem I have with any rodent roaming freely in the house, is the "trail mix" they leave behind, you know, all those "raisin's"?

Although I can be wrong, but I do believe this is how many incurable disease's start.

Now if one deflates, worse than N.E. Patriots football, does the DOT officer give the driver an inspection ticket and if so, how many PSP points for a deflated animal?

    Inquiring minds want to know!
