California seeks trucker feedback

LOL this is a joke right? This seems like one of those political moves to make people think they really care...

Cali already knows what truckers think about them.. They are one if not the biggest Anti trucking states in America and they suck!!!!

Sorry that's my opinion but I would imagine that pretty much covers most other drivers opinions as well..

Cailfornia wants feedback? I don't go there! I've been offered loads to California, I turn them down. I drive a 2008 Western Star, and I turn down the loads. Everyone needs to turn down loads to California, when they have to drive out of state to buy food and toilet paper, maybe they'll figure out they screwed themselves! I don't want to go anywhere where I don't speak the language. I don't want to drive that far to be treated like crap! Ohio is right on the way and only half as far!

Commiefornia keeps getting their CARB rules shot down by the feds. They are putting on a dog and pony show to try and make people believe there is widespread support for their crazy laws.

The open forums will be packed with set-ups who are there to read their CARB prepared speech, and down the dirty exhaust trucks. This they hope will win over the fence straddlers.

They have an agenda. They are going to do what they want, no matter what. This is just a way to get there without as much political fallout, they hope.

Its been a little over six years since I have ran in that money racket state, and I expect it to be many more, as I don't plan on going back in a truck.

The wife wants to see Yosemite National Park, but we will fly or drive a car. I keep telling her I am on strike against Commiefornia, but I may have to cross my picket line to keep her happy.

This is exactly why trucking companies, DOT, DAC, and many states get away with treating truckers so wrong. All you guys do is complain and do not get up and do something about it. You guys rule this country but you can't or rather WON'T stop the complaining long enough to unite and effectively get the treatment that you deserve. I read the posts and there is always something to say, but I have yet to see truckers unite as one voice to say if gas prices don't come down immediately we will cripple the worlds economy, if trucking companies don't pay us what we deserve we will put them out of business, if the DOT and states like California don't back off they will have to go to the farmer and pick their own food.

I just don't understand it. You guys run this country becuase you bring EVERYTHING to EVERYONE. But all you can find the time to do is complain and whine about how unfair everything is. If everything is so unfair, put your trucks in park, pick up a picket sign and head to DC and get something done. The American Public will support you but you have to start the process.

So please for the love of GOD stop WHINING and put something into ACTION.
