What specs on your 579? Curious as to the average mpg?

 

Just an update.... went to mid america truck show
met with pete, kenworth, and volvo as well as db kustoms and I think I may go with a 2011 peterbilt 389 with 450,000 miles a 500 cummins and a 18 speed 3:36 rears...

 

in all honesty, since I started driving all I have drove is big/long hood trucks, tried looking at a Volvo I liked it but....it's just not me there are rumors that in a few years because of government pressure with fuel mileage they will stop building the 389 pete's and W900 kenworths. as to your question on MPG 5.5 to 6 is all I have personally got driving a 2013 389.
with quality's you will never pay more than $1.25 a gallon promise I think I will be ok.

I wonder why no glider kits? They must go to California often?

I haven't talked to anyone officially, there's not any terminals here in Pineville where I live but there is a procter & gamble plant here. QC is hauling something in there and I'm trying to figure out what that lane is and how regular

 

Does anyone have any information on the Quality Carrier terminals in Chattanooga or Bessemer as far as which affiliate would be better to work for, if either?
