A little trick to not paying out of your pocket if your a company driver buy some oil and window washer fluid and 2 grease packs for your fifth wheel then it costs you nothing.
-
well the cool part is i have to fuel here. for some reason my fuel gauge read a little high but i ended up reporting lower on my empty lol

Don't feel bad I always do that so when I get empty I can drop the trailer and bob tail around!

Hey guys, you give no consideration to the Shakers with 10 speeds. Baloney! Ive had one for two months and like it. I'm not you're average and ordinary statured person. The amount of stand-up room in here in
unbelievable, as well as leg room. Oh, and no VORAD! You can have your
pretty sardine cans, mine pulls the same amount of freight yours does
and is more comfortable. -
yea give it a couple of months till you're in a sardine can like the rest of us

Yeah, Man. I feel it coming. Actually, this one only has 469,000 miles on it, and runs darned good. Looks like crap, though. Front bumper rusted,
paint chipped, bent in places, and the right fairing bent back quite a bit.
All done before I inherited it, mind you. But, all good things have to come
to a Kenworth end, don't they? -
Hey you guys. I recently recieved my CDL and now Im looking for a good trucking company. Last week I recieved my Pre-hire letter from Werner but after reading all of the negative post, I am looking the other way. TransAm sounds like a good company. The only downfall on my part would be hometime. Anyway, this maybe a dumb question but what is auto shift? Is that like shifting gears without clutching? The school I graduated from taught double-clutching, which took me awhile to learn but I got the hang of it. Also is it true that if you get hired with a company that drives automatics and then apply for a company who only drives manual, would it be hard to get hired?

Check out Conway/CFI. They are a good company for newbies and the trucks are 10 speeds.
