Not trying to be rude or funny, just telling the truth. Just a tip if you are hired, they love it when you drink that blue kool aid.I hear drivers complain that I believe in the past would put Walmart before their family. It has changed SO much, good luck.

4 post lol what a entrance... And welcome . Agree with some of your comments and disagree on some. But we all are entitled to our own opinion . Def no reason to be on duty unloading mulch or dirt I pop the lock go off duty go shopping or get a nap. No reason to be on duty. Now groceries yes on duty had a 4 stop remix today lucky me lolGwally57 Thanks this. -
Just had mulch this past week.Had a 72 year old woman and a younger man.If I wanted to wait until 8:00 I would possibly get more help. As you know, each pallet weighs 3000 lbs.Too much for 1 person.I thought the lady would drive the fork lift and the guy in the trailer. The lady did nothing but watch and the guy tried to do everything . Although I know we aren't required to be in the trailer I used the pallet jack and he drove the fork lift.I talked to a manager the previous day in the afternoon and told her what time I would be there.Waste of time. Our time means nothing anymore.

great... another driver complaining about his job. Yes, it is different than the old days, it is not the old days anymore. Seems as though different safety managers have various interpretations of on duty. If you are attached to a reefer load, then on duty... but you can get your half hour at a grocery unload since it is pretty straight or dirt/mulch. We get compensated pretty well for relatively easy work.

I just stated the facts in my previous replies.Sorry I don't drink the kool aid.Why have they lowered the qualifications for new hires and older drivers are leaving? Why do they have to advertise on xm radio and big a.m. stations for new drivers? Yes the money is there, but the B...sh.t gets worse all the time.Just curious, have you heard why they fired Mary the cleaning lady at 6801 eleven days before she was to retire? She was there a lot of years.Real caring people.Mr.Sam is spinning in his grave. No need to reply.I won't post any more,I'm done.

yep, all doom and gloom. Bye then.
grabberblue12 Thanks this. -
B S??? I wouldn't know of any. I'm not in any office long enough. Also I would have hunted down a manager and told them to get someone else to help unload and if I didn't get cooperation then, call their DC and have customer service get involved. But that's just me. Not gonna hurt my back pulling 3k lbs. Of dirt. I enjoy what I do. We all do.
grabberblue12, Buzzard2157 and noninetofive Thank this. -
