for adjustment to the clutch break add free-play to your clutch adjustment then take free-play out of the linkage till everything is in spec. eventually you run out of adjustment and its time to replace parts.

I've been told that the only time you adjust your linkage is when you first install the clutch. from that point on, all you do is adjust your clutch.

I think my clutch is about toast. Correct me if I'm wrong. I have adjusted it to where I jsut barely have clutch break. The problem is.....I have way too much free play.

Guess I'll just drive it till it quits pulling!!

I welded a 3/8" bolt to a 5/16" bolt at the thread tips and that is my clutch freeplay measure tool. The heads are 9/16" and 1/2". Also have a special stick to wedge between the seat and clutch pedal and a 3/4" block to check pedal to rubber bumper stop clearance for the FLD.
