TA just east of Greer. 649 miles today but just couldn't get home. Btw, yes I'm 62 governed company.
Staying for ten and as soon as it's complete will pre trip and roll. 74 miles from delivery about 62 from the house.
Really looking forward to four days homeLepton1 Thanks this. -
Snagged another nice load from Laredo to Oxnard, Cali
OceanDan Thanks this. -
Ina, IL.
Uneventful day.
My next load will be picking up tomorrow in OH at P&G, delivering Wednesday in VA near Harrisburg.
That extra 475 miles this week will be a nice addition to the 2200 I'll already have.
Now, if I can only deliver a couple hours early to get a jump on that load.HousTank Thanks this. -
Petro, Ontario, CA Flat refuse to park in JV. No problem getting that $20 purchase to pay for parking. Cigs here at cheaper than AZ and I needed some since will be there for a few days so buy 5 packs and boom, there is my purchase. Had a pplan that would have gotten me to Phx tomorrow morning. It was removed and replaced with one to pick up tomorrow afternoon and deliver in PHX tomorrow night. Messed up my plans. Now instead of having the afternoon to clean out my truck now have to wait until Wednesday and then on Thursday move into and set up the new one. Only 2 more nights in this truck and can not wait. Stuff is starting to go real wrong. In 5 weeks, replaced 4 gallons of oil and no puddles on the ground.

In Kansas City MO..again..parked behind the customer for a D/H in the morning. Ran nonstop from Rockford IL to get here to set my 10 and log pretrip & delivery together in the morning and get on outta here. It's so nice and quiet here and NO darn reefers thumping around me.
Memphis shop finished up my B-Serv, A/C and windshield replacement along with several safety recall items on the clutch and steering. Took them from late Friday afternoon until Saturday night at 8pm. I expected them to take till Sunday so I was happy.
As soon as I got the truck back I reset my PTA and went fishing in Lake Mac30 so I could get the heck outta there (there were a LOT of the usual whiners laying around crying that they only had short loads and wouldn't take them..can't listen to that crap!!). Reeled in a nice load from Jackson TN to northern IL. Went inside to inquire about a food-grade level trailer and a very nice gal at the window said she'd dispatch me with a good trailer sometime overnight while I was sleeping (I thought yeah sure!, but she did!!).
Finished that run and Manteno planners tossed me a bone from Rockford IL back down to KCity, then stacked it with another from Trenton MO over to Swedesboro NJ. Nice and light too so crossing the WV and PA mountains will be a breeze. Haven't been on the East coast in over 2 years but this load was too good to weasel out of. I'll be burning up Mac30's ASAP to get back heading west. Do NOT want to get sucked down I-95!! -
Are you happy with your move from Lancaster to Laredo..and a new DM???jenziedk Thanks this.

H3ll yes! Ran a little over 2500 last week and will be right at 3000 for this week even on recap hours.
Pilot in Van Horn, TX. Will stop at El Paso for fuel tomorrow and run a hard 600 to make delivery Wednesday with a little time on the back end to get parked. -
Live unload at T&W Tire on Council Road in OKC. This is the load I hauled from Houston in order to take home time in OKC to see my brother.
The situation getting recruited to drive team with my brother has a sticky wicket. His truck just had an overhaul on the engine, but he doesn't have the funds to get it out of the dealership. Meanwhile I can't do orientation unless we have a truck to drive and his company so far isn't willing to advance the money to pay for the repair.
Now I'm doing Mac-30's to hit the road again to get miles. Meanwhile my wife isn't happy for not seeing me since January and life is up in the air, not sure if I'll ultimately move to OKC or stay with Swift out of JV. At this point I may simply tell my brother I need to make a decision and stay with Swift, then get on the board for a new trainee. Waiting for him to clear his situation the last couple of months without a trainee on the truck has cost me over $4K in income, and if I stay with Swift it's about time I help train someone again. -
This was shaping up to be a pretty baller week. 2800 miles in 5.5 days at the GLR rate is pretty sweet. Had a nice set of plans on me that got pulled off because I was "tracking" late. Then they gave me some nice replacement ones that ended up being cancelled. Today, they gave me an itty bitty sub-100 run backed up with a Costco picking up today and delivering 200 miles away tomorrow at 2000. Hell no. Took the first one just to get me moving, then called my DL when he got in to get me something to keep me moving today. He replaced it with another Costco 300 miles away delivering at 2000 tonight. If I could get another 300+ miles tomorrow, this week could still end up as pretty great.
