I'm just a hair over 15k so far usually stay out about 11 days at a time. All the little 3-400 mile multi day runs have been killing me for the last 3 weeks. Got a half decent one headed to NJ for tomorrow

I have been tracking this for years. 1st quarter is usually the worse for me. Next is 4th quarter. 18K is a good quarter. My best is 17.5 or so.

Dealt with something a little different today. Got up this morning and did my pretrip about 3AM. Everything looked fine. Drove 200 miles empty up to N Chicago to load.
I was tired so I took a nap while they loaded me. 2 hours later I go to collect my paperwork and find this
Lost a spring assembly on the road. Discussion took place about unloading the tank which the customer didn't want to do.

Looks like I am in a N Chicago trailer repair cycle. I was cruising down I 70 empty when another driver told me I had a brake chamber about to come loose on my trailer. Fortunately I was only a couple of miles from the Petro. Unfortunately they cant get to it until the morning. Fortunately I can still turn this and get back home Wednesday.

Dang....it amazes me how some of the trailers pass inspection. Atleast you weren't loaded and have the brakes lock up from pressure loss
