well i started with Roadrunner carriers when they started this company driver division 9/2014 and have noticed that alot of revolving door problems
so if you plan is to find a trucking company that you would like to stick to Road Runner transportation systems or Road runner carriers is not the place
i did nothing wrong and was let go to them "my route was no longer available and no other work is available" :biggrin_25513:

not yet but i have done alot of apps - i kept telling the management that a flat rate of $0.40/mile wasn't that great - all the drivers are able to find better paying truck jobs in their markets that they live and thus the revolving door

So what makes them a bad trucking company? Did they not give you your last check or leave you stranded somewhere?
Aside from letting you go what have they done to be a bad company?

well there was no reason why they laid me off - they had setup routes that they were profitable and i did my route every week and even did an extra load a couple of times and i know it's about the bottom line in any business but if they were going to cancel my route. i was willing to do a different route, and they said NO?? i'm pretty sure that they could have put me on a different route if the bottom line was the problem - so then you would have to start questioning the management at that point, and why are they really hiring drivers if they do there job and want to stay with roadrunner but lay them off?? LIKE I SAY "THERE IS NO FUTURE WITH ROADRUNNER"

Ok so that doesn't make them a bad company. Sounds like you were let go and are bitter about it.
Find it odd that in an industry that is 30k drivers short you are having a hard time finding work.
Ever wonder if that's a coincidence?

As a side note I was leased to Roadrunner Dawes and had my lease cancelled when they downsize. So I'm not pro RR just think your post is not valid.

.... Did they give up any kind of warning or just kind of threw you under the bus when they are done with your services?
I think that's the point the op is making..... Which is something to know about..... Maybe they didn't like his additude or something like that..... Just to be fair we should ask the op if he thinks he may have complained to much about the low pay..... Not that we haven't heard negative things about roadrunner before or to discredit the OP but for the sake of truth and maybe something the op should ask himself.... And also to say " yes" Brother I hear ya "trucking just doesn't pay much anymore" and I have a feeling it will be paying less & less tomorrow as well as long as we have deregulation in place it will not change but continue to be degraded..... I myself seemly stand alone on having deregulation reversed back to the days when the price to move frieght was pretty much set in stone, but unfortunately we have alot of drivers that are still standing up for deregulation along side with corporate America....so it's best just to take it on the chin and do the best we can... We are kinda caught up in the middle between DOT laws there supposed to be about public safety and trucking companies that are trying to be prosperous as well.... So it's a dog eat dog situation in the name of greed and yet having safe highways.... No wonder I hear the old timers saying " I'm glad I'm almost ready to retire from the trucking industry.....remember to ask yourself this question OP..." was I a bad sport with roadrunner ".... And who else knows, maybe you did a good job and still got thrown out like trash because you wouldn't take less $
