It's only on the PSP for 3 years. But a rollover is an extreme amount of points.

DBrook I wasn't there so I'm not going to play truck stop lawyer. But you have a major situation on your hands. What the company sees is you did not have control of your vehicle. Even if a car "ran you off the road", that's still what they see.

    Tonythetruckerdude Thanks this.

It will be on your PSP for 5 years, your DMV abstract (motor vehicle driver license report) for 10 years, and in the companies computer possibly also reported to Hireright (DAC report) for at least 3 years. It will show on your DAC, if reported, as terminated for cause and also show you were involved in a property damage accident greater than $500, which you were since the truck was damaged when it rolled over. Just because no citation was issued does not mean it did not happen, it is out there and you will have to disclose it. The best advice I can offer is get a copy of the police accident report that shows there may have been another vehicle involved and keep this handy. If you get past the first stage of applying you will need this to show the safety department, I was hit head on back in Sept 2005, car was so far into my lane the hit the right front of my truck then bounced about 90 yards into the woods, this was not my fault but it still shows on my driver abstract. I needed the police report for my previous employers and also for my own insurance company now that I am independent, just to prove it happened how I said it happened.

Honestly, being this happened in your first 60 days, if I understand you correctly, you may have a hard time getting hired anywhere for the next 3 years, not trying to be mean but just honest so you know where you stand in providing for your family. Most companies will not hire someone with a serious accident, regardless of fault in the last 3 years, it makes you hard to insure. Good luck, glad you were not hurt.

Always a good idea to read the whole thread before responding.
