The arctic package on a tri pac unit is where it (the unit) is tied into the coolant system of the tractor so in the winter the truck coolant stays warm while the Tri pac is running.

Yes when I upgrade the truck I'm scheduled to get is in Charlotte Drifter.......

As for the SNI recruiters my understanding is they are swamped and short staffed, still no excuse not to respond but I will say it may be weeks before they have space so I'm sure they are taking drivers in order of apps and space available.

I've already been approved...it was just put into hold status till a court case I was involved with was tossed out..they have the paperwork now as of 3/20...I'm just getting disgusted by the complete lack of any response...a response is better than nothing...it's making me have second thoughts....I'm going to give them no more than a few weeks then I'm moving on ...that is to get a response

I would suggest to continue to call and email as often as you can. I'm not saying wait by no means i was just relaying what I was told as of yesterday. Once you're onboard no more dealing with recruiters except sfi if you need too.

I was told today, my recruiter is working from home...I wonder how many of them are doing that?

Does anyone know if Schneider actually make a big deal about if an IC does a sleeper berth provision or "split logging" etc?

I'm currently in a position where either I do it or will be late for a live load, a live load that pays a lot also.
Yeah fun times in the Northeast lol.

Schneider in class said we're not supposed to do it but they say a lot of things just to cover their butts. They also said to log post trips, I never do that. They said ETAs always matter and are very important, most the time mine is wayyyy off. From those two examples I never heard anything from them.

It's like when I was at Crete.. they made a big deal about no cell phones even with bluetooth while driving and drivers even would drive into the OC with the bluetooth on their head talking away lol.
I'm not saying I break all the rules but some of these rules companies just do to cover their butts. Even like this whole DVIR that Schneider still wants us to do even when no defect is found.. though the official "law" now says that doesn't matter anymore.

Not that it's an excuse but they are totally swamped. This program is very hot, in orientation they even told me that.
Recently two newish drivers I spoke with told me the wait is around 2-3 months now for a new Shaker.

Sounds bad but there's a reason WHY it's soo popular.
