You dont worry about one state when you are about to go through 12. I was taught 12 on steers 34 on drive and 34 on trailer.

But 50 pounds. The wind could blow one way and the scale could give a reading of 50 pounds either way.

Only truckers could take an April Fools joke and argue about it.....

Well I give up if you don't know the actual weight limits of the states you needed to go through. You have a lot to learn.

Thanks. I clearly stated in a previous post that i learned my lesson. But i think everyone should keep bashing me more until they get tired. Maybe sticky this thread so no experienced hand misses it and they all get their turn on me.

I don't want to bash you. You're good people. But you got on here and told us a story about 6 reweighs and a fight with the boss over this. You kinda asked for it

Think of it as an opportunity to grow one of those things a truck driver desperately needs... a thick skin. :biggrin_25525:

You should have stopped before the scale and took a dump, you surely would have scaled!

Call the Weigh Station, myself, i was over weight on an axle in Calf. couldnt get it right. 250lbs over, the scale master said, they'll allow it. recognize, sometimes the load just doesnt scale out.

...is there anything else you have weighing in the balance, perhaps help is on the way. (issues w/ur boss)

I can see that. But most of my loads are pretty light so ive never actually been this close to where i needed to make a judgement call. And I AM dealing with a boss who wants me to run illegally every other time. There was no evidence to suggest this time that wasnt what he was doing. But I was wrong.

    Stopped clocks and all...
